How do I know the lockboxes I buy will work with my association?

We have contacted all the Realtor Associations in America to determine whether they will allow incoming transfers of lockboxes to/from other Realtor Associations. We help oversee the transfer process to the full extent we are able to ensure the process is simple for our customers.

What lockbox system do I need?

When you let us know what association you belong to, we will let you know what system you are operating on.

Do you sell or buy combo lockboxes, RISCO lockboxes, or other devices?

No. Currently we offer all versions of Supra and SentriLock lockboxes.

What happens if my lockbox doesent work when I get it?

Give us a call or contact us via email and we will work to find a satisfactory solution. Most of the time there is a minor glitch in the transfer process between Realtor Associations and the lockbox parent company. In fewer instances, the lockbox itself needs to be replaced, which we will do via our 100% satisfaction guarantee.

Is this legal?

Yes. We have a fantastic lawyer and are operating under fully legal and ethical standards with regards to the process of buying and selling realtor lockboxes.

How long does it take to get my lockbox?

You should receive your lockbox within 3 days, depending on the method of shipment. We offer a few different options depending on your level of urgency.

Will my new (SUPRA) lockbox arrive deprogrammed?

Yes.  We require all Supra Lockboxes sold to LockBoxSwap be deprogrammed prior to being sent to us. We guarantee you will be getting a deprogrammed lockbox ready for use on your next listing.

Does the lockbox have a manufacturers warranty?

Manufacturer (Supra/SentriLock) has stated that a lockbox's warranty is transferrable to a new owner, but this can change at the discretion of the manufacturer and LockBoxSwap is not responsible for said changes, if any.

Does LockBoxSwap offer a warranty on the lockbox itself?

Because of the nature of the real estate business, agents could in theory buy a lockbox, use it, and then return it within a short amount of time. If LockBoxSwap gave a 30 day satisfaction guarantee there would undoubtedly be users out there that would take advantage of this scenario. Because of this reason, we cannot offer an extended warranty; however, we guarantee the lockbox a customer buys will be fully functional upon arrival, and the lockbox purchased is “as stated” from the time of purchase (in terms of condition, make, and model). Please contact either SentriLock or Supra to fully understand their terms and conditions regarding transferred lockboxes.

Can I buy a new or refurbished lockbox?

We will be rolling out this feature in the near future

My Association isn't listed, or I am not allowed to Swap or Buy a lockbox. What Gives?!?

This is due to the restrictions your association has placed on the use and terms/conditions for the lockbox itself. Either your Realtor Association rents/leases lockbox to its Realtor members, or it does not allow intra-association transfers. Unfortunately, we cannot do anything about this, but we suggest you contact your Association and let them know how you feel and what they are missing out on!

My Association isn't listed, or I am not allowed to Swap or Sell a lockbox to the site. What Gives?!?

This is due to the restrictions your association has placed on the use and terms/conditions for the lockbox itself. Either your Realtor Association rents/leases lockbox to its Realtor members, or it does not allow intra-association transfers. Unfortunately, we cannot do anything about this, but we suggest you contact your Association and let them know how you feel and what they are missing out on!

How long until I get my money?

Typically a couple of days. We need to receive your lockbox, verify the condition and functionality, and then remit payment to you. Depending on the shipping method, this can take  4-5 days.

Do I need to deprogram my SUPRA lockbox before sending it?

YES – this is a mandatory requirement. Supra doesen't make this easy to do once it leaves your association without incurring further cost. You must deprogram any Supra lockbox before sending it to us and getting payment.

Do I need to send in any required bill of sale or transfer forms?

Unless otherwise requested or required to do so, we will have all the necessary documentation for you to sign electronically.

I have a broken lockbox, can I sell this to you as well?

Yes. We offer a recycle service to our customers and will buy recycled lockboxes, but only at a very nominal value for recycling purposes.
