Pricing and Product Availability
Prices and availability of items on the Site are subject to change without notice. LockBoxSwap reserves the right to adjust pricing due to errors, market conditions or other extenuating circumstances upon arrival to us, at the point of inspection. Errors will be corrected when discovered. We will normally verify prices as part of our dispatch procedures so that, where an item’s correct price is less than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount when dispatching the item to you. If an item's correct price is higher than the price stated on our Site, we will normally, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before dispatching the item, or reject your order and notify you of such rejection. We are under no obligation to provide the item to you at the incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you an order confirmations or shipping confirmation, if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakable and could have reasonably been recognized by you as a pricing error.
On occasion, you may be able to place an item in your shopping cart and submit your order for processing, but your order is subsequently cancelled due to unavailability of the item. You acknowledge that items may sell quickly and there may be a short period of time after an order has been submitted, but where the item is no longer available. You agree that we may cancel your order after you have received an order confirmation without penalty.
On very rare occasions, you may receive a shipping confirmation from us, but the item is no longer available in our or our third party fulfillment provider's inventory. You agree that we may rescind our acceptance and cancel your order without penalty if we are unable to ship the item you ordered due to unavailability.
Condition of Purchased Items:
Every item purchased from the site is guaranteed to arrive to the customer in substantially the same condition given in the description for that specific item on the Site at the time it was purchased. Items purchased from LockBoxSwap are purchased “As Is”/”As Stated”/”As Available”. LockBoxSwap does not offer any other express or implied warranty on the items it sells. However, for certain items, there may be a specific warranty already in place from the item’s manufacturer. If so, this warranty may or may not be transferrable to a new owner and the manufacturer may or may not change or terminate such warranty at its discretion. LockBoxSwap is not a party to such warranties and is not responsible for their content or any changes to or terminations of such warranties, if any. For more information on LockBoxSwap’s policies regarding warranties please refer to the Terms of Service.
Your order will be fulfilled by the delivery date set out in the shipping confirmation or, if no delivery date is specified, then within a reasonable time of the date of the shipping confirmation, which could in exceptional circumstances be longer than 30 days.
Damage of Items While in Transit:
All items purchased from LockBoxSwap are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon tender of the item to the carrier.
LockBoxSwap will not be responsible for damage of any item while in transit. We recommend that you purchase the shipping insurance option at the time of checkout.
If a Customer-Purchased Lockbox Arrives to Customer “DOA”:
If the purchased lockbox arrives to a customer and is non-functioning, please contact LockBoxSwap immediately. LockBoxSwap will gladly replace the lockbox with a lockbox of similar value and condition, provided that the item’s non-functioning was not a result of shipment, and provided that, customer notifies LockBoxSwap of the problem no later than 5 business days from the date customer receives the lockbox. It is the customer’s responsibility to inform LockBoxSwap of the problem no later than 5 business days from the date of receipt of the lockbox. We will promptly process all returns as soon as they arrive. In the event that LockBoxSwap confirms that the lockbox (at our fault) has been received by the customer in non-functional condition, LockBoxSwap will pay for the shipment costs associated with your return of the lockbox and our replacement of it. All replacements are subject to item availability. If an appropriate replacement item is not available for any reason, and you have followed the procedure outlined above, LockBoxSwap will refund you the purchase price.
Lockbox Arrives to Customer Other Than Stated from Purchase:
If a purchased lockbox arrives to a customer and is not the same lockbox that the customer ordered (whether because its condition is materially different from the description on the site at the time of purchase, or because it is a different make or model), we will promptly provide you with the item you ordered, subject to that item’s availability, provided that the item’s nonconformance was our fault and not a result of shipment, and provided that you have informed us of the item’s nonconformance within 5 days of your receipt of the lockbox. LockBoxSwap will take care of the shipping cost back to us and also pay for shipment of the replaced lockbox back to you. All replacements are subject to item availability. If an appropriate replacement item is not available for any reason, and you have followed the procedure outlined above, LockBoxSwap will refund you the purchase price.
In the case where LockBoxSwap is purchasing (“swapping”) a lockbox from a customer, customer agrees that any offer or quote (“quote”) given by LockBoxSwap for a lockbox before LockBoxSwap has had a chance to inspect the lockbox is merely an estimate. All initial estimates are based on your description of the item and data gathered through the LockBoxSwap site “swapping” process. Quotes remain valid for forty-five (45) days from the date the quote is given to customer. Quotes are subject to change in the event that item(s) are materially different then described or for any other reason that LockBoxSwap determines to have a material effect on the value of the lockbox. Final determination of an item’s value occurs after LockBoxSwap has inspected the lockbox.
If, after inspecting the lockbox, LockBoxSwap determines that the quote is appropriate, LockBoxSwap will inform the customer that the lockbox has passed inspection and will proceed with the Payment Process outlined below.
If, after inspecting the lockbox, LockBoxSwap determines that the quote is inappropriate (whether because the condition of the lockbox is different from the description that the customer has provided, or for any other reason that LockBoxSwap determines, in our sole discretion, materially affects the value of the lockbox) LockBoxSwap may, in our sole discretion, and within five days after our receipt of the lockbox from the customer either (a) offer the customer a different price for a lockbox by following the Revaluing Procedure outlined below, or (b) reject the lockbox and return it to the customer by following the Rejecting Procedure outlined below.
Revaluing Procedure: (1) LockBoxSwap will contact the selling customer using the contact information provided to us by such customer, (2) LockBoxSwap will inform the customer of our objection to their lockbox submission and (3) LockBoxSwap will offer the customer a revalued price for the lockbox. In the event LockBoxSwap offers a new valuation because of a customer inaccuracy/misrepresentation, the customer will have 72 hours to accept or reject the revalued price. If the customer accepts the revalued price (or does not reject within the 72 hour period), LockBoxSwap will keep the lockbox and proceed with the Payment Process outlined below. If customer rejects the revalued price, the transaction will be cancelled and LockBoxSwap will return the lockbox to the customer.
Rejecting Procedure: (1) LockBoxSwap will contact the selling customer using the contact information provided to us by such customer, (2) LockBoxSwap will inform the customer of its objection to the lockbox and of its decision to reject the lockbox (3) LockBoxSwap will return the lockbox to customer.
Shipping Your Product to LockBoxSwap
LockBoxSwap utilizes UPS as our primary shipping service for all inbound “swapped” lockboxes sold by the customer to LockboxSwap. From time to time LockBoxSwap may utilize other shipping carriers at its sole discretion. Upon accepting LockBoxSwap’s quote for an item(s) and submitting the required information, LockBoxSwap gives you the option of shipping to us the lockbox yourself (at your cost), having us send you a parcel box with a prepaid shipping label (at our cost), or printing out a prepaid label (at our cost) to ship on a box that you pack and supply yourself. If you use any shipping service or carrier besides that which is offered by LockBoxSwap you agree to do so at your own expense.
All shipping costs are prepaid whether you use our prepaid label and box or prepaid label only (unless you ship the box entirely by yourself). If you wish to insure your package, insurance must be purchased by you at your expense during the checkout process. We recommend shipping insurance for all transactions with LockBoxSwap.
Tracking Your Items

Once all/any discrepancies are addressed as indicated herein, and once your item(s) are fully processed, approved, and all items accounted for, a confirmation of payment email will be sent confirming that payment has been issued.
Special Requirement before Shipping when “Swapping” Supra Lockbox Products to LockBoxSwap:
The recorded title owner of any Supra product(s) must return to the Real Estate Board or Association from which the item was purchased to have the Supra product(s) deprogrammed, prior to shipping such products to LockBoxSwap for swapping. Our processing center will not accept Supra products that have not been deprogrammed. Supra lockboxes that are found not deprogrammed WILL NOT pass LockBoxSwap inspection. If in the event our processing center discovers, via our inspection process, that the Supra product(s) is not deprogrammed we will promptly inform Customer via email and return the Supra product(s) back to you, so you can have it deprogrammed. We will pay for the return shipment to you*. Once deprogrammed, you should resubmit the product(s) back to us at your expense, and our swap price for the now-deprogrammed lockbox will be reduced/deducted by our actual cost to ship the lockbox back to you.
When we receive a re-submitted lockbox, we will notify you by email confirming receipt. If our inspection process will verifies that the Supra product(s) has been deprogrammed, we will remit payment as outlined above. If, alternatively, we discover that the lockbox has not been deprogrammed for the 2nd time, we will return the Supra product(s) back to you at our expense, and you will no longer be able to conduct business with LockBoxSwap unless otherwise agreed to by LockBoxSwap.
